Babysitting

So my job is to babysit. I love little kids. I babysit a three year old and a six year old. The three year old's name is Jocelyn. Joceyln  has a bubbly personality and is a joy to be around. Julian is six and he is your typical boy. He likes to mess around and play in the mud, dirt, sand, ect. They are pure joy. They make my day better.

They love dancing and listening to music. They enjoy the simple things in life. Oh how I miss being a child. A simple scratch was you biggest worry. Joceyln wanted to listen to music and she started dancing. I played "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" and she started dancing. She sang and said "Jelly Jelly time!" She aslo says "Play Duggie!" She and Julian are fun to be around.

They are always looking forward to me comming over to babysit. How many people get to knock on their neighbor's door and then they answer and say "Come in meranda! How was your day at school?!" And that is what i hear everyday from Jocelyn and Julian.

These are the little things that make my day better. They keep me going. So remember to enjoy the little things. :)

  2. Meranda, you are awesome! I can totally picture you being a kid yourself with these little ones. I am telling you, kids keep it real- they remind us of what's important. As does your blog. Great job so far.

  4. I think we can all relate to the part about wanting to be a kid again. It's amazing how much energy they have all the time. Can't wait to read more!

  5. I think this is something everyone could learn something from. You are so right when you say its the small things in life because we seem to expect the big things like presents on holidays or our next pay check but things like seeing someone or spending time with someone who really appreciates you and that you love, that is what seems to really make an effect on people and make them truly happy:) you are such a great writer!
